PilotDeck Update: Desktop Apps Launch, Plus Multiple Experience Improvements
On June 10, PilotDeck released a new version. This round of changes is fairly concentrated, covering the desktop client, usage stability, the settings interface, IM channels, and model integration. Let's take a look at the highlights!
Windows & Mac desktop apps officially launch
PilotDeck now offers Windows and macOS desktop clients — download and use. Those who previously found deployment too daunting can now get started directly.
Major stability improvements
This release fixes 38 issues, with key improvements as follows:
More reliable large-file handling: a new automatic recovery mechanism means operations interrupted midway can recover automatically — no more freezing or data loss.
Optimized IM channel replies: replies in Feishu, WeChat, and other IM channels are more concise, a straight upgrade in experience.
Noticeably smoother interface response: the real-time update logic has been optimized, CPU usage is greatly reduced, and long sessions are less likely to stutter.
A refreshed settings interface
The Settings page has been simplified overall, so even newcomers can quickly find the options they want.
This release adds three practical features:
Version check and upgrade: view the current version directly in Settings and upgrade with one click — no more manual steps.
Scheduled task configuration: a new Cron settings section for managing scheduled tasks through the UI, convenient and intuitive.
MCP server configuration: add and manage MCP servers directly in Settings, with no more manual config file editing.

New interaction capabilities for IM channels
All IM channels (Feishu, WeChat, Telegram, etc.) are upgraded together this time, with support for two new capabilities:
Interactive prompts: PilotDeck can ask you for confirmation or choices directly in IM, with no need to jump to the web interface.
Project switching: switch the current working project directly in IM.
The Feishu channel additionally supports a concise reply mode and emoji reactions, with more thoughtful attention to detail.
New Volcano Engine model support
Models from ByteDance's Volcano Engine can now be integrated and used directly once configured.
