How to Register: The event uses a "Feishu registration form + Feishu final submission form + OpenBMB community event group" process. Registration collects only intent to participate and basic information; after the work is finished, the team lead fills in the final submission form. 🪐 Who can register?
Current undergraduates, master's and PhD students, and alumni within 5 years of graduation are eligible.
Individual entry is supported, and cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged (up to 4 people per team).
Students from any field can join; no coding is required for the Creative Communication Track.
🪐 How do I register?
Fill out the Feishu event registration form (https://modelbest.feishu.cn/share/base/form/shrcnIyQAO64eEzFqXuwMjCCM9H).
The form collects your school, department/major, degree level, WeChat, email, preferred track, use case, whether you already have a team, and how you heard about the event.
After registering, join the event group; livestream reminders, team matching, technical Q&A, and submission reminders are shared there first.
No work link or finished plan is required at registration; the "one-sentence project direction" field is optional.
🪐 Who submits the work?
Each individual or team needs only 1 lead to fill in the final submission form (https://modelbest.feishu.cn/share/base/form/shrcnug6q2P3k4KKp2IluqrHORb).
The lead's contact details should match those in the registration form as closely as possible, so the operations team can link registration records, team information, and the final work.
Team member information is filled in all at once at final submission; individual entrants may use a personal nickname or the work's name as the team name.
Event Q&A: Q1: I don't know how to code. Can I participate? A: Yes. The Creative Communication Track values campus expression, audio creativity, and reach, and suits students in languages, media, music, design, broadcasting, club operations, and content creation. You can make dubbing skits, dialect memes, campus radio, virtual anchor clips, club recruitment audio, and more. Q2: I want to form a team but can't find teammates for now. What should I do? A: Join the "Super Partner Program." After the event starts, the group will launch a recruitment drive encouraging computer science students to team up across disciplines with students in languages, media, music, design, product, and operations. Individuals can also compete alone, but we will prioritize helping students with clear ideas find the right partners. Q3: Can I get guidance from developers or community experts? A: Yes. After the event starts, the group will launch a "Mentor Pairing Program," inviting community developers and student teams to pair up and exchange ideas, helping students with model deployment, application integration, work polishing, and promotion optimization. Successful pairings receive small rewards; paired works that are ultimately submitted successfully also receive extra incentives. Q4: Where can I try or download VoxCPM 2? A: The project team provides multiple entry points including Hugging Face and ModelScope (see Project Links), and will also compile quick-start tutorials. If a link does not open, report it in the event group and we will help switch download or experience paths. Q5: How do I submit my work? A: After the work is complete and publicly released, the individual or team lead fills in the final submission form. The Creative Communication Track focuses on public work links; the Multidisciplinary Application Track focuses on repositories, READMEs, Demos, or demo videos. Q6: How do I take part in the Works Plaza online vote? And the DemoDay on-site vote? A: In this event, all works that pass basic review enter the Works Plaza; participants can invite classmates and friends to vote online there, and those votes are mainly used as a reference for the Voice of the Show Award and the communication awards. On DemoDay, students from all universities are welcome to register to attend, observe, and vote on site, jointly deciding the Voice of the Show Award.
