Call for Entries | The VoxCPM 2 "Top Player" Advanced Challenge Is Here! HHKB Keyboards, Cloud Compute, and More Await!

In an era where "any device can run a large model," has your inner geek awakened?

To further unlock the open-source potential of VoxCPM 2, we are officially launching the VoxCPM 2 "Top Player" Advanced Challenge! The event is driven by two goals — "lowering the barrier to deployment" and "encouraging secondary development" — to energize the open-source community.

Whether you are a deployment geek who loves wrestling with low-level hardware, an MLOps engineer skilled at assembling AI workflows, or a wildly creative content creator, as long as you can get VoxCPM 2 "running," "working," or "trending" in your own scenario, a generous prize pool of geek gear awaits.

⏰Event period: April 9 – April 22, 23:59 (Beijing Time)

Challenge Tracks: Three Arenas, Choose One: Participants can pick one of the following three core tracks based on their technical background: 🌍 Track 1: Hardware Environment Adaptation and Deployment (Hardcore Code): Developers are encouraged to get VoxCPM 2 running on all kinds of devices or cloud platforms, with detailed tutorials or automation scripts.

Local geek track: Get a Windows local environment up and running, or complete Mac MPS/ANE hardware acceleration adaptation.

Edge computing track: Hardcore solutions that run successfully on edge devices such as Raspberry Pi, domestic development boards, and mobile phones.

Deliverables: A code repository URL plus related documentation or a blog post. Code must be open-source, with complete deployment docs and run scripts, and must be verified to run in the specified environment.

🧩 Track 2: Ecosystem Workflow Integration and Applications (Hardcore Code)

We encourage seamless integration of VoxCPM 2 into the thriving AI ecosystem to demonstrate the model's practical value.

Toolchain integration: Write a dedicated ComfyUI node, or wrap the model as a usable Tool/Agent/Skill in agent frameworks such as OpenClaw, LangChain, and AutoGen.

Scenario demos: Build lightweight interactive apps such as an immersive foreign-language speaking practice assistant, a real-time in-game voice translation plugin, a desktop AI voice companion, or digital-human voice interaction.

Deliverables: Complete project code, integration docs, or a demo video of the application. The same open-source and reproducibility requirements apply.

📣 Track 3: Creative Cases and Application Scenario Sharing (Content and Outreach)

Show the public what VoxCPM 2 can really do and make some noise in the community!

Reviews and comparisons: Produce high-quality video or written evaluations that objectively show the model's advantages in specific scenarios.

Creative stunts: Use the model to produce unexpected results — dubbing classic memes, making virtual streamer dialogue clips, and so on.

Beginner-friendly tutorials: Turn hardcore developer projects into easy-to-follow "zero-background, step-by-step deployment tutorials" in text or video, or build one-click all-in-one packages.

Deliverables: A link to your work published on any social platform (Bilibili, Zhihu, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, X, WeChat Official Accounts, WeChat Channels, etc.), with a call in the content for followers to follow the official project.

Geek Prize Pool: Hardcore Gear Ready: We have prepared generous prizes that balance "geek faith" and "practical value," with each track judged independently:

Hardcore Pioneer Award (Track 1, 1st–3rd place): Generous cloud compute credits + a high-end mechanical keyboard (HHKB).

Ecosystem Cornerstone Award (Track 2, 1st–3rd place): Generous cloud compute credits + a high-end mechanical keyboard (HHKB).

Breakout Buzz Award (Track 3, 10 winners): An official co-branded merch gift box (custom tote bag, power bank and mouse gift set, Three-Body-themed creative charger)

Participation Award (unlimited): A spot on the official GitHub README acknowledgments list. In addition, the first 50 participants with a valid submission that passes review will also receive: an OpenBMB-VoxCPM Ecosystem Developer e-certificate + a custom tote bag + a custom fridge magnet 🏆

💰 CNY 500 cloud compute credit & HHKB keyboard

Official Tips for a High Score: How to Make Your All-in-One Package More Popular

To make your tutorial or code truly work out of the box and score high on reproducibility and practical value, we suggest the following details for handling model downloads:

Provide dual-source downloads: In your documentation, include both the Hugging Face and ModelScope download paths to accommodate users on domestic networks.

Build in automated downloads: If you are building a one-click package or automation script (e.g. setup.sh), we recommend adding hf download openbmb/VoxCPM2 or modelscope download --model OpenBMB/VoxCPM2 directly in the code to reduce package size and deliver a true one-click experience 🎮.

Specify the download path: For specific scenarios (such as ComfyUI), clearly document --local-dir or --local_dir to reduce trial and error for users.
